These came in by email, on paper at the desk, and in one case scrawled on the back of a spec sheet. We have deliberately kept the ones where the answer was to buy nothing.
Came in for a driver and left with the same driver, a shorter shaft and a bill for forty-six dollars. I have played that club for two seasons since. My fairways went from about four a round to nine, which is not a fitting story anybody makes a poster out of, but it is the reason I send people here.

The wet-face thing sounded like a gimmick when Priscilla explained it. Then she showed me my sand wedge losing about two thousand rpm as soon as the face was damp and my seventy-degree confusion about why I release everything on morning rounds went away. New wedge, and the numbers held on the second test.

I brought a set I bought used and never had checked. Three heads were more than a degree off and one shaft was a full flex softer than the label. Nobody at the big store had said a word about any of it in two visits. Bend, one reshaft, done, and the yardage gaps closed up.

What sold me was the sheet. I have been fitted three times in my life and this is the only one where I walked out with a piece of paper telling me what was actually measured. Came back eleven months later and the lofts had moved almost exactly as much as Garrick predicted they would.

The putter session on the stimped surface was the first time anyone measured how far my ball bounces before it actually starts rolling. Changed the loft on my putter by a degree and a half and my lag putting stopped finishing four feet short every time.

I am sixty-eight and had been told for years that I needed a senior flex and to accept losing distance. They put me in a lighter shaft with a firmer tip, which is apparently not the same thing at all, and I picked up eleven yards of carry. Ruben built it in five days.

Booked a whole-bag Friday half expecting a sales pitch. Ended up replacing three clubs out of fourteen and rebuilding the rest. The honest accounting of what did not need touching is worth more to me than the clubs I did buy.

What we did and did not do to these
Every note is from a real client and is published with their permission. We shortened several, because people write long when they are pleased, and we corrected obvious typing errors. Nothing was rewritten and nobody was asked to hit a talking point.
We do not offer anything in exchange for feedback — no discount, no entry into a draw, no free regrip. A shop that pays for its reviews in store credit has quietly turned its testimonial page into an advertisement, and the whole point of keeping the no-sale stories on here is that this page should read like evidence.
If you have been through a session and want to send something, the desk email is on every page. If you had a bad experience we would rather hear it directly than read it somewhere else; the same address reaches all four of us.
