Six sessions, and what each one writes down

Nothing on this page is a package with a name invented by a marketing department. Each row is a block of bench time with a defined set of measurements attached to it.

Reading the grid

Two questions decide which row you should book

Where does the round actually go wrong?

Not where it feels worst — where the strokes leave. A golfer who loses four shots a round inside 120 yards and two off the tee should be booking wedges, no matter how much the driver annoys them. If you keep a scorecard app, bring the last ten rounds and we will read them with you before deciding, at no charge and with no obligation to book anything that day.

How old is the equipment in question?

Anything past five seasons of regular play deserves a measurement session before a replacement session. Grooves, lofts and grips all move, and the drift is often mistaken for a swing problem. A wedge session on a five-year-old set frequently ends with a rebuild recommendation and a much shorter shopping list than the golfer arrived expecting.

Beyond the six rows

Bench work that is not a fitting

These are drop-off jobs. Wednesday is the day the bench is cleared for them, so turnaround is fastest if the clubs arrive Tuesday evening or Wednesday morning.

JobTypical turnaroundRate

Component costs are quoted separately and always at the price we pay plus a flat markup we will show you. There is no hidden margin sitting inside the labour line.

Groups and juniors

Two arrangements that do not fit on the grid

Junior sizing block. Forty-five minutes, $70, and priced that way because it will need repeating. Growing players need length and lie revisited roughly every eight months, and charging a full session rate each time punishes families for doing the right thing. We keep the growth chart in the same folder as everyone else's spec sheet.

Four-person bay block. Three hours on a weekday evening for a group who plays together, $420 total. Everyone gets baseline measurement and a written sheet; testing time gets shared. It is not a substitute for an individual driver fitting, and we will tell your group that up front rather than after they have paid.

  • Left-handed fitting stock is real, not a special order. Both bays are set up for either side without moving anything.
  • Adaptive and single-arm fitting is welcome. Call first so we can allow extra time rather than rushing you.
  • We do not run outdoor blocks below 42 degrees. The ball data stops being comparable and the session becomes a waste of your money.
  • Sessions can be paused and resumed on another day at no extra cost if you are not swinging well. Bad data is worse than no data.

Book the bench before the season gets away from you

Weekday afternoons open up first. Saturday slots in April and May usually fill about three weeks out, so call earlier than feels necessary.
